The revolutionary SPEEDGLAS 9000 helmet series features four aerodynamic exhaust vents to remove exhaled air without letting in welding fume. For welders who keep their helmets in the down position for prolonged periods of time, the build-up of carbon dioxide (CO2) is greatly reduced compared to traditional helmet designs. Users feel more energetic and clear-headed all day long.

Each filter is a laminate of seven different layers: a UV/IR filter, 3 polarizers and 3 liquid crystal elements.

The first time you put on a SPEEDGLAS helmet with Side Windows you will be amazed. You realise that you can still see all around you. Previously hidden peripheral hazards (beams, obstacles, other workers) are now visible through the two, shade 5 side filters. Welders can quickly and safely move around their work areas.
