Protection of wire ropes and cables is a sometimes forgotten process, but requires the use of products which offer highly specialised corrosion and lubrication protection if full design life is to be realised. ROPE LUBE AEROSOL is one of FUCHS’ advanced speciality products designed for maintenance treatment of all types of wire ropes and cables. It has high penetrating ability, ensuring penetration of the concentrate through to the lay core rather than simply affording surface protection. Once at the core, the product has good de-watering, and importantly, rust prevention capabilities - important characteristics for those cables used out of doors.
