A quality ESAB rutile electrode for tack, butt and fillet welding in all positions including vertical down. The electrode is suitable for all welding positions and deposits smooth weld beads with easily detachable slag. It has excellent strike and restrike characteristics and is ideally suited for depositing short runs and tack welds. Applications cover the full range of mild steel weldments from thin sheet steel and sections for the consumer market through to ship quality and structural steel for use in heavy engineering.
