At the core of every ESAB Savage helmet is advanced Auto-Darkening Filter (ADF) technology paired with a pristine 1/1/1/2 optical class rating. Unlike older helmets that produce a heavy green tint, the Savage utilizes ESAB’s True Colour viewing. This provides a brighter, more natural view of the weld pool and the surrounding workpiece, resulting in better spatial awareness, greater precision, and reduced eye strain over a long working day.
For maximum efficiency, these helmets are equipped with four optical arc sensors that guarantee a rapid auto-darkening response, even when you are TIG welding at extremely low amperages or working out of position. Furthermore, the externally activated Grind Button allows operators to switch instantly to a shade 4 passive state without removing the helmet or their heavy welding gloves.
