David has 25 years of experience in the welding industry working for Energas, working in many roles within the business. Working for Energas straight from finishing school David has been a branch manager, a sales rep and now manages our team of fabrication excellence experts. David has an in depth knowledge of many welding processes and has strong relationships with many of our key suppliers including ESAB, Lincoln Electric & Migatronic.

My name is Andrew White, and I am an Account Manager in the Fabrication Excellence team. With my background as a time-served fabricator welder, I bring extensive experience and expertise in the welding industry.

My role involves providing our customers with the best solutions for their companies while simultaneously improving their efficiencies. I am passionate about my work and look forward to connecting with like-minded professionals in the industry.

Welding engineer covering the UK, Simon is customer facing and provides value added services to Energas customers. Simon provides technical services ranging from, but not limited to, process relating issues, reoccurring defects and business challenges, Efficiency improvements, NDT/inspection, welding procedures & specifications, welder qualification and technical reviews.

Simon also leads the Welding Efficiency Analysis Program which is a tried and tested 20 year in the making efficiency program. This efficiency program includes a very mature patented database of over 7,000 efficiency audits. This allows Simon to benchmark your business against known industry averages and provide meaningful business performance data. From this benchmark Simon develops a efficiency program to improve your company performance allowing you to better compete with your competition, whilst providing an average cost saving of 30-40% of your business welding & fabrication annual production costs.

Lee Thompson is part of the Fabrication Excellence Account Management team at Energas, with over 18 years of experience in the welding industry and over 10 years with the company. Drawing on his in-depth technical knowledge, Lee works closely with his clients to improve fabrication processes, enhance productivity, and deliver tailored, high-performance solutions

With just over two years in the welding and fabrication industry, I've already developed a real passion for learning and embracing new technologies and techniques. I'm known for being friendly and personable, while maintaining a professional approach, and I truly enjoy building long lasting relationships with my customers.

Born and raised in Grimsby, I've always been surrounded by industry - from the busy port of Immingham, which is the UK's largest port by tonnage handling, to the refineries & steelworks, and the exciting offshore projects shaping our future. Growing up here has really given me a real appreciation for the huge potential our region holds in engineering and manufacturing. That's why I'm so passionate about supporting the younger generation and working closely with colleges to help bridge the skills gap. I'm always eager to get involved with academic institutions, and as an advocate for women in engineering, I love encouraging more people to see the incredible opportunities this sector has to offer.

I cover the West Midlands, Shropshire and Staffordshire area for the Fab Ex Team. i have over 9 years on the job experience within the welding and fabrication industry. I have built up a vast range of knowledge in all areas of welding, and extra knowledge in PPE and Abrasives. I have a good working relationship with the rest of the team and our supply chain partners.
