From manual welding stations to fully automated industrial robots – this fume extraction system is suitable for every welding task and ensures clean air everywhere.

You want to keep your workshop or production free of harmful welding fumes? You need a solution that meets your individual requirements? A stationary extraction system is too expensive for you and you want to remain highly flexible?

Then the xFUME® COMMANDER is the extraction system that fulfills exactly these requirements.

It is easy to operate throughout, can be used for manual welding workstations as well as for welding cobots and industrial robots and is extremely powerful.

The xFUME® COMMANDER is a mobile fume extraction system for extraction at source, which can optionally be converted into a stationary unit. With a suitable extraction torch, the fumes are extracted directly at their point of origin. This has been proven to be the most efficient way of extracting fumes. The cleaned air can be released directly into the environment. The xFUME® COMMANDER has been tested in accordance with DIN EN ISO 21904 Part 1 and Part 2 and is labeled W3. This means that the extraction unit can also be used when welding high-alloy steel compounds such as nickel and chrome and the cleaned air can be released back into the environment.*

The Advantages of the xFUME® COMMANDER

  • Can be used for manual welding workstations as well as welding robots

  • Brushless motor, developed for continuous operation, significantly reduces downtimes

  • 2 versions: as a mobile device with dust box or as a stationary device with 60 liter dust collection container

  • Connection for one extraction torch, can be extended to 2 connections with optional Y-piece

  • Noise-reduced due to integrated silencer

  • LC display and rotary knob operation, also suitable for gloves

  • Simple maintenance openings for easy accessibility

  • 1.8 m2 filter surface of the main filter, optional HEPA filter with H13 classification for particularly demanding applications

  • Requires only a small footprint of 460 mm x 355 mm

  • Tested in accordance with DIN EN ISO 21904 Part 1 and Part 2 and labeled W3

* High-alloy steels may not be welded in Germany without W3 certification of the extraction system.

Motor power

  • Single-phase with 1.2 kW = ideally equipped for extraction at two manual welding stations

  • Three-phase with 2.5 kW = top for robot systems together with the xFUME® ABIROB®, can be positioned decentrally, also bridges longer distances

LC display and intuitive rotary knob operation
Important parameters visible at a glance, individually adjustable: Actual and target output, filter fill level indicator, volume flow monitoring, start-up time, run-on time, operated via convenient rotary knob function.

Tool-free maintenance/filter exchange
You can easily open the upper part and hinge it backwards using the so-called quick release. Both filters (automatically cleanable main filter cartridge and HEPA filter) are now easily accessible.

The filters can be replaced in just a few simple steps without any additional tools.

Practical wheels
Uneven hall floors, curbs, ramps – no problem with the xFUME® COMMANDER. With the two large rollers fitted at the rear and the handle on the top, you can easily move and reposition the extraction system. Pushing is just as easy as pulling. Once positioned, a special foot ensures absolute stability.

Noise-reduced housing
Extraction systems are often perceived as annoying because they are an additional source of noise. The developers of the xFUME® COMMANDER have taken precautions to avoid this by installing silencers.

Because space is at a premium …
… Binzel have kept our xFUME® COMMANDER extraction system slim. At 460 mm x 355 mm, it requires only a small floor area in relation to its performance.
